An excellent book and a pretty scary one. Hill did a great research on how the facial recognition started going back to 18th century and followed the development of the Clearview technology and reviewing its' competitors' efforts as well. It's a thought-provoking read on privacy and whether we'll have one in the future. It's super fresh (published in 2023) and highly recommended read for anyone, regardless whether you're technology geek or just a regular person using social media.
